London History: “The rub-a-dub” – Historic Public Houses

As we venture down back streets, alleyways and riverside walks you will discover the historical facts (and fiction) relating to famous London ‘watering-holes’ and their surrounding areas. You will see the haunts of famous patrons, such as Shakespeare, Dickens, pirates and gangsters, to those haunted by ghosts (or not)! The course includes six trips to historic areas of London, including the Docklands, the Southbank, Knightsbridge and the City of London. The costs of travel and any beverages purchased are not included in the course fees.
