Women’s Role in History – The 19th Century

This short taster course will provide you with an opportunity to visit the role of women in history. The 19th century will introduce names including Queen Victoria and Florence Nightingale. Topics will include punishments and women’s rights, working practices and women’s roles during peace and war.

In Person – No appointment is necessary but please check our opening hours before coming along. You will be able to enrol at our Bower Park or Brittons Centres. You will need to bring along your payment, ID, proof of address and proof of eligibility (if applicable) at the time of your enrolment. If you are unsure what to bring, please ring ahead for confirmation.
